Check your home insurance policy very closely.  There will be defined criteria in your policy that will qualify you for coverage to ensure your home is protected when you are away and to ensure your home insurance policy is valid in case of an unforeseen event while you are away. It is your responsibility to engage your home watch provider for the visit frequency that meets the rules of your insurer. It should be noted your neighbour or family members do not always qualify as proof positive your home has been physically inspected as needed while you are away.
